“Operating a Shipping Company out of Cyprus” London 30th June 2008
On the 30th June the Cyprus Ministry Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an information meeting under the topic “Cyprus as an International Business Centre” for companies within the financial sector in London. Mr. Robert Thompson, First Deputy Managing Director of Unicom, accepted an invitation from the Cypriot ministry to share the experiences of Unicom, as a shipping company operating since 17 years from Cyprus. The event was very well visited and acknowledged by about 100 delegates taking part and it further promoted the island as an international business centre within the European community. |
