SCF Unicom's Volley Team won the 1st Place at Volley Tournament of the Cyprus Shipping Community

We are happy and proud to announce that Unicom's Volley Ball team has won the 1st prize at the Cyprus Shipping Champer (CSC) Charity Volley Ball Event 2009.

This charity beach volley tournament is been organized since 10 consecutive years by the CSC and SCF Unicom's team has joined in 2003 and fought its way up during the past years. 

The yearly tournament takes  place at the end of the Cyprus summer season on 3 Sundays in September/October.  This year 21 teams of the Cyprus Shipping Industry were participating. The determination and sportsmanship of all teams was impressive as same was the amount of members and fans plus their families participating and giving support to their teams.

Certainly the achievement of Unicom's Volley team has made management and all colleagues very proud. They showed excellent sportsman ship throughout the tournament and impressed the other teams with their continous good games and strength during all sets. The team won all sets during this tournament.

The Minister of Communications and Works, Mr. Nicos Nicolaides was awarding all teams with a trophy which showed an extra honour. We like to express our appreciation and thanks to the Minister, Mr. Nicos Nicolaides, for taking time to visit the finals last Sunday.

The Management and all colleagues of Unicom like to thank the team for the time and effort given to achieve such an success, their excellent sportsmanship and overall for promoting Unicom at such an event.
