Maritime Cyprus 2009 “A Changing Climate: Emerging Opportunities”.

Every two years the Ministry of Communications and Works and its Department of Merchant Shipping in cooperation with the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, organise the Maritime Cyprus Conference, which has grown into one of the world’s most significant and most attended shipping conferences. Its status now gives it a prominent position in the calendar of many shipping executives, including owners and managers as well as those in charge of organisations with shipping related activities.

The Maritime Cyprus 2009 Conference, which is the eleventh since it was first established in 1989, had as a main theme “A Changing Climate: Emerging Opportunities”. As the theme suggested the Conference focused on the present situation and the future prospects in Shipping and analyzed the dynamic parameters of the internationaleconomy and its effect on shipping.

 

 

 

SCF Unicom is regularly participating at the Maritime Cyprus with an exhibition stand to inform visitors and guests of the conference about the scope of our activities and our services.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

This time SCF Unicom's Managing Director Mr. Sergey Popravko was invited as  a  panelist to the conference attending the discussions and giving a presentation on  "Energy Consumption and Transportation".
