SCF Unicom participated at the Cyprus stand at this year’s Posidonia which took place from the 7th to the 11th June 2010 in Athens, Greece.
Although the economical situation in many countries making businesses look carefully at their expense Posidonia had a record number of exhibitors of about 1800 companies from 86 countries. The exhibition area covered 30,000 sqm conference space.
Posidonia 2010 was opened on the 7th June at 17.00 hrs by the Greek Minister of Commerce and other high ranking officials.
The Minister of Communications and Works of Cyprus Her Excellency Mrs. EratoKozakou Marcoulli visited the conference on the opening day and honoured the Cyprus stand with her presence.
The overall impression of the Posidonia 2010 was excellent showing that the world is emerging from the recession and intents to focus on growth
More than 20,000 national and international visitors attended the conference and all the social gatherings, luncheons and parties demonstrating a strong shipping community interested in building a strong future.
